Granka Music Studio, in Brantford, Ontario offers both group music classes and private piano lessons, as well as instruction in music theory.
Music for Young Children (MYC) provides the best quality music education to young children by blending the pleasure and the joy of music making with sound instruction. It’s the only child-centered music program that integrates keyboard, creative movement, rhythm, singing, ear training, sight reading, music theory and composition. Private piano lessons, incorporating music theory, are available for older children, teens and adults. It’s never to late to learn how to play piano – first piano lesson is free. MYC piano classes are also available for small groups of teen or adult beginners.
Sherri Granka, owner of Granka Music Studio, in Brantford, has been a piano teacher for over 20 years.
Pianist and accompanist, Sherri also performs for weddings and special events and accompanies string classes and soloists for Kiwanis Festivals and RCM exams. She has collaborated with friend and fiddler Ron Hepworth, performing Irish, Scottish and Seasonal concerts locally. Her hobbies include playing violin and Irish step dancing.
